Baby #4

My tears flowed freely as I stood in front of the monitor at The Wife's Level II ultrasound yesterday.  Ten fingers and ten toes, spine perfect, fully formed lips and facial features, and-- thanks to the unusual abilities of our beloved sonographer-- a four-chambered heart with aortic arch evident.  And when I stepped back away from the details, I saw a gorgeous baby who looks just like her big brother and sisters.  My beloved.

That's right...  it's a girl.  It should be a fun ride with a house full of girls, and I couldn't be happier or more relieved.
