Too Much

If this book wasn't enough to get me to seriously consider my dependence on fossil fuels, perhaps this will: the gas station up the hill just installed flat-screen TV's on every pump to flash pretty pictures in my face and to fill the air with promises of happiness through further consumption. All from a range of approximately two feet. It reminds me of the airport in Las Vegas, with the looming screens everywhere, beckoning me to chase after some shiny new toy. Another thing to ignore, I guess.

Screens on every pump? Just trying to remind you of all the great things we have inside, like 64oz. coffee, Slim Jims, discount hot dogs, and, oh by the way, a $54.00 gas bill!

Might I suggest purchasing an environmental management device from the good folks over at www.tvbgone.com.
