Quiet, Please!

Will is resting in his little fort today, covered by a bedsheet and his precious quilt. He's resting and sleeping and listening to some music. It seems to be working, too, as he's crossed the 2 kilo mark! Hopefully, this is good preparation for the extubation which will likely come later this week.

But for now, we just watched him sleep. Oh, ok, so I might have borrowed one of the tiny flashlights from our nurse to shine on the inside of his tiny tent. Kids gotta be kids, you know.

Aww! Will's fort is adorable! I'm so glad that he's back in a place that's more peaceful for him (and for all of you guys).

Oh that's an excellent idea! It's such a great idea; I wish I had thought of it ;-) I hope they let you continue to do that if / when you’re moved back to the PICU. I bet it would make an even bigger difference there.

And YEAH to Will for crossing the 2 kilos mark. I firmly believe in celebrating every accomplishment :-) So, Will... to mark this great achievement, have a celebratory drink of Mommy's milk!
